Additionally, products designed for homeowners—like sheds, bunkies, and greenhouses—can be equipped with solar, wind, or hybrid power and water systems.

MCS is committed to embracing circular economy principles by ensuring that each new product created from blade waste is marked with its origin and includes a manufacturer’s certificate. This certificate guarantees that products can be returned for recycling at the end of their lifecycle, effectively closing the loop.

As Ontario anticipates a substantial increase in wind turbine blade waste by 2030-32, the need for responsible recycling solutions becomes critical. With an estimated 1,230 blades yielding approximately 2,268 tonnes of material, our commitment to address this challenge is paramount.
